A few photos from the 13 miles of Sandblast we managed to complete before the engine let go.

Stupid question. I assume the OK sign is to let others know you’re just off and not in serious trouble?

Exactly right

Nice. That’s actually a pretty good idea.

The great Dusty Ventures looks like neither a rally duck nor a rally chicken. What is this?

It’s actually a rule. As a stopped vehicle you must put out three DOT triangles to let oncoming traffic know there’s a stopped car (and which side it’s on) and the OK sign to let cars know there’s no injuries or emergencies. As a running car if you see a stopped car with no OK sign (or alternately don’t get a thumbs up from the crew), you need to stop to ensure there are no injuries.

Ah ok. I don’t have yhe chance to see any rallies here (Mississippi doesn’t know what fun is) so I did not know there was an actual rule for that. Thanks!

Ok, this is a really silly question, but do you ever get car sick?

Never in the rally car. The only time I’ve been car sick was when I was trying to read a novel on my phone while riding in a tow rig with blown struts. It was truly a recipe for disaster.
